A Hidden Cafe amongst North Sydney

Disguised in the shadow of North Sydney, Bay Ten Espresso lies on a leafy laneway amongst the historically artistic neighbourhood of Lavender Bay. To one side, a vibrant green bike path highlights the street, and a strip of concreted industrial bays lines the other. You’ll find us under the railway in the warehouse atop Middlemiss Street – Bay 10.

When you step closer, you’ll hear our distinct rock n roll melody and smell a caffeinated aroma percolating from within.

“Settle into a seat at the back by the window, letting the warm sun touch your cheek while you sip down something special – Take in views of exposed, peeling walls with layered history, unreachable ceilings overhead and a chortling café crew to entertain you.”

LANEWAY
LIFE

There’s a lot more going on than meets the eye;

We’re not just a café in Lavender Bay, we’re a whole laneway of soul. We started as a small café serving the neighbourhood in dire need of a good cuppa, and now we’ve found ourselves expanding into the five rambling warehouses next door, breaking ground into the world of coworking. After Bay Ten we created the most unique workspace you’ve ever experienced, and from there we’ve forged a community of avid entrepreneurs, creatives, and hustlers all out to make their own way outside the corporate sphere.

They come for the laneway lifestyle.

Through the Archways

Same heritage vibe, same warehouse feels, same shipping containers, just a bigger playground.

Run. Roll. Walk. Cycle. Drive. Train. Bus. Ferry. Rideshare. Kayak.

We’re easily accessible and just a train stop away from Sydney CBD.

BXE sits on the land of the Cammeraygal and Wallumedegal people of the Eora nation, and thus we would like to acknowledge and pay respects to the traditional custodians of the land.

Come as you are, take a stroll down the laneway and slip into the warehouse at the top of the street.
